Yoga Classes

SLOW & GENTLE YOGA (Basic)
Ideal for beginners and all who want to enjoy a gentle yoga experience.

This is a kind and nourishing class.  We take it slowly here.  Ideally suited for all who want to approach yoga gently.  Nourishing restorative breathing techniques and postures explained in great detail are perfectly suited to let go of stress in body and mind.  By holding the poses a little longer we learn to align body and breath allowing ourselves to ease into Asanas quite effortlessly – raising our energy levels, increasing strength, flexibility and balance, leading to greater health and vitality.

INTERMEDIATE & VINYASA FLOW YOGA (All Levels)
For more seasoned yogis and yoginis as well as novices who are looking for an experience with a wider variety of poses and strength building opportunities.

In this class we explore core yoga postures with the aim of strengthening the body, increasing our energy levels and bringing rhythm to our practice.  We pay close attention to the alignment of body and breath and learn to cultivate Ujjayi breathing while practicing.  The poses offered will include variations with regards to depth and intensity to suit each student.  By adding a more dynamic approach to our practice, we stimulate and balance all systems of the body, including the circulatory, digestive, endocrine and respiratory systems – refreshing every cell of the body.

KUNDALINI YOGA

Kundalini Yoga is called the Yoga of Awareness. The dynamic and powerful movements of body and breath allow practitioners to experience their soul.

In Kundalini Yoga we harness the mental, physical, and nervous energies of the body and put them under the domain of the will, which is regarded as an instrument of the soul. This technology precisely and consciously combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purify the blood.
